Voting Period: October 1 – October 30, 2025
Voting: Takes place on our website during the voting period.
Categories: 19 Southeast Nebraska Counties and 8 Categories.
Eligibility: Open to all ages. Photos must be taken or owned by the person submitting the entry.
THIS IS A UNITED STATES - STATE OF NEBRASKA Photo Contest - We will not accept entries from any other states or countries.
One Photo per Person per Category may be entered.
Re-entry Rule: Any photo that previously won or appeared on a finalist ballot in a past contest is not eligible for re-entry.
Photos should be relevant to the category topic. We reserve the right to disqualify photos that don't match the category entered.
Photo Requirements:
Format: JPEG or PNG
Minimum resolution: 1000x1000 pixels
Photos below this resolution will be automatically disqualified
Due to high entry volume, we may not notify you individually if your photo is disqualified. Low quality, grainy/distorted images will not be accepted.
Usage Permission: By submitting, you grant us permission to share your photo as a contest entry on our website, Facebook page, and in the finalists calendar and future contest marketing.
Selection Process:
60 finalists will be selected to move to the Online Ballot in October.
9 winners will be chosen across the 8 contest categories + Editor's Choice.
Finalists will be chosen by metrics on our Facebook page.
Entrants can help their entries by encouraging comments, like, share and tags on their entries.
Entries will be posted in 2 Albums (Category & Master Gallery). We will combine metrics for both albums to choose the finalists.
